Alesis ADAT HD24

以下1-7是根據 HD24的說明書所指引：

1. 24 Track simultaneous recording at 44.1/48 kHz(12 tracks @ 88.2/96 kHz)

2 . Storage media: Standard IDE hard drive(minimum 5,400 RPM)

3. Recording time per each 10 gigabytes @ 48kHz:45 minutes x 24 tracks; @ 96kHz: 45 minutes x 12tracks

4. Number of drive bays: Two front-panel, hotswappable

5. Recording Modes:4 4.1/48 kHz24 track, 16 track, 8 track, 4 track, 2 track8 8.2/96 kHz12 track, 8 track, 6 track, 2 track

6. Resolution: 24 bit linear PCM encoding

7 . Internal clock Fs: 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 88.2kHz,96kHz; External clock; Varispeed -16%/+6% @ 48kHz

假如您的 HD24 Firmware 是 version 1.10 以下的話，您只能：
1. 99 songs per project.

2. ATA 6 compatibility. (Previous HD24 firmware was only compatible with ATA 5that allowed drives up to 137 GB.) ADAT-FST v1.10 allows hard drives up to 2.2Terabytes.

3. Added extended names (up to 64 characters).

4. Added extended character set.

version 1.10 以下還有這些 Bug :

1. Fixed bug where unplugging a master sync source from a slave with a 96k/88.2k songwould set the system clock to an illegal 2x clock (thus causing HD timeouts and otherslow responses).

2. Fixed bug where playing songs longer than 13 hours would eventually freeze thetimecode.

3. Fixed bug where locates and other song information above 13 hours would not alwaysfunction properly.

還有些要留意的東西：
最好有 ups(Uninterruptible Power Supply)，萬一斷電還時間 dismount HD 不致什麼也沒有了.

工作溫度：攝氏10度以下或40度以上都有死機的可能.

20GB大約可以錄 90minutes/24Track/48kHz Sampling rate

HD24 maximum capacity Hard Disk: 2000GB=2TB
